Franconian wine duo

Franconia, located in the north of Bavaria, is a region of taste. Here, the finest specialties are produced for which we Franconians are famous worldwide, and we offer only the best of them at Schmidt under the Kaiserburg Feinkost brand.

Of course, this also includes exquisite wines from Lower Franconia, many of which are grown on the riverside of the Mainschleife. Here you can order our duo of the classic varieties Riesling and Scheurebe.

The dry Riesling is probably one of the most famous white wines from all of Franconia. Our Riesling comes from the Volkacher Ratsherr vineyard and delights with its fruity freshness.
The Scheurebe is a cross between the Riesling and the Bukettraube and is especially for friends of sweet wine enjoyment the perfect white wine. Our wine comes from the Sommeracher Rosenberg, one of the most famous vineyards in Lower Franconia.
