Snacks - for parties and movie nights
A good home cinema evening includes a great movie, good friends and - of course - snacks! But always just boring popcorn or candy? In the long run this can spoil the best blockbuster. Luckily, there are a lot of things to nibble on, from crisps, crackers and peanut flips, to tasty cheese biscuits.
Savoury snacks: It doesn't always have to be sweet
Sometimes you just don't feel like chocolate or gummi bears, you want something salty, hearty. For example, at the aforementioned film evening or at a dignified wine tasting. Treats with salt, pepper, paprika or Mediterranean spice mixtures simply fit better. There is often as much choice here as on the sweets shelf. This is especially true for crisps. 10 or 15 years ago, they were almost exclusively available as paprika crisps with occasional special editions. Today, every conceivable variety exists from "sea salt" to "sour cream" to "curry sausage". In addition, there are many other snacks, such as crackers, pretzel sticks or baked pretzel pieces - the old popcorn from the cinema can really pack it in.
Savoury snacks from Lebkuchen-Schmidt
To compete with the huge selection of snacks in the supermarket would be quite a lot of work for us in the Lebkuchen-Schmidt-Shop - but we don't want to do that either. We prefer to concentrate on supplying you with savoury snack specialities that you won't find in this form anywhere else. For example, we have crispy sticks with the finest Swiss cheese and fine salt from the Alpine region. They are already irresistible on their own, but also go very well as a crunchy side dish with a great soup. By the way, for the movie evening mentioned at the beginning, we recommend Dutch cheese biscuits: crispy and spicy cheese sheets with Parmesan, Gouda, Edam and the Mediterranean aroma of tomatoes and basil. Crisps? Can go back in the cupboard with the popcorn.
