Lights out, spotlight on: Here comes the Gingerbread of the Year 2022! Every year we choose a new recipe, which we proudly present to you, because the award-winning gingerbread specialities are among the best that leave our bakery. Our choice for Gingerbread of the Year 2022 fell on honey heaven: a sweet Elisen creation.
We don't need to tell you much about the Elisen gingerbreads: They are the pinnacle of gingerbread artistry thanks to their exquisite ingredients, a high nut content and a low flour content. Each Elise is baked on a fine, fresh wafer and coated in various ways. The gingerbread of the year contains a particularly high amount of blossom honey and has been coated with a dark chocolate night sky on which white chocolate stars shine.
