The perfect sweet treat for on the go
The Black Elisen Lebkuchen have long been a traditional Christmas pastry at Lebkuchen-Schmidt. They were actually created by chance: The founder of Lebkuchen-Schmidt, E. Otto Schmidt, tipped fine cocoa into the gingerbread dough bowl. He tried this new mixture and found it so delicious that he immediately added the Black Elisen to his range. Thank God! Because these gingerbreads with a fine cocoa flavour are simply delicious! As usual, the Black Elisen Lebkuchen are also full of choice nuts, coated with crunchy chocolate and baked on wafers. Simply the classic in mini format!
In addition to the usual Black Elisen, we also have Mini-Elisen Lebkuchen on offer for you. One pack contains 12 of these wonderful delights: Perfect for travelling, the office or school. The small bite-sized gingerbread morsels can be eaten with just one bite - but the enjoyment is not that small, it's huge!
