Franconian plum liqueur

'That fragrance! This velvety taste! This liqueur! The Franconian Plum from Heim is a unique drink, made from genuine Franconian plum water. As an aperitif, digestif or simply in between meals, the liqueur is a fruity delight made from regional fruit that has a long tradition in Franconia.

Legend has it that Alexander the Great brought the plum from Asia to Persia. How it came to Franconia has not been handed down, but it is known that Charlemagne particularly promoted the cultivation of plums. The trees grow particularly well in the sandy soil of Franconia and also characterise the landscape of the region. After a long period of silence, this traditional fruit has recently experienced a revival, for example in the form of brandies and liqueurs.
