Perfect as a sweet snack between meals
Dominoes - the finest Christmas treat, small and bite-sized, perfect as a sweet snack between meals, without any crumbs. Our confectioners prepare the little treats with the greatest care. The best ingredients are mixed layer-by-layer to create an incomparably delicious whole: First the gingerbread base, then the jam, topped of with the best marzipan. This little work of art is covered in crunchy chocolate and only the perfect looking Dominoes make it into the Christmassy packs from Lebkuchen-Schmidt.
But what happens with the Dominoes, which, of course, have an excellent flavour, but have some visual flaws? Because one stone is not quite rectangular, the other has chipped-off chocolate and the next one didn't want to rise quite as high during baking? Then, the Dominoes - like gingerbread with minor flaws - are sold by Lebkuchen-Schmidt as broken pieces or scraps, not perfectly shaped, but at the same flavour level as all of our Dominoes. Of course, at a special price!
