Oide Birn

Fruit from the Bavarian Chiemgau region is some of the best fruit there is. Of course, this also applies to Williams-Christ pears, the classic among the tasty types of fruit, which are often made into delicious brandies. The Stettner distillery, located in the Frauenwörth Abbey, is one of the best-known brands in this respect - and you can now also order its Oide Birn fruit brandy from Schmidt.

We use only the best pears from a harvest for our pear brandy, to ensure the highest quality of the end product. After distillation, the delicacy is stored in wooden barrels for twelve months - a perfect aroma is guaranteed afterwards!

Out of a centuries-old tradition, the Oide Birn is stored in bottles reminiscent of old apothecary bottles - an eye-catcher on any shelf. After all, the abbey also had a monastery pharmacy where bitters and herbal liqueurs were produced long ago.

The bottle comes in a modern designed box and is ideal as a gift, for spirits fans - or for yourself.
