Recipe idea
Naked cake with gold fruits as a topping
Incomplete and yet perfect. That's what Naked Cakes is all about. And with our golden beads they are a real feast for the eyes.
1. A sponge cake dough is suitable as a cake base.
2. For the other layer, prepare a mascarpone cream. To do this, stir the mascarpone with milk, lemon juice, lemon zest and vanilla sugar until creamy. Beat the whipped cream until stiff and carefully fold it into the mascarpone cream. Pour the cream into a piping nozzle.
3. Now alternately layer the sponge cake base and mascarpone cream on top of each other in a foam ring and cake edge foil.
4. Chill the towers overnight.
5. Shortly before serving, sprinkle real cocoa on the last layer of sponge cake.
6. Carefully remove ring and foil.
7. The chocolate pearls are perfect as a crown. If you want to add another highlight to the tarts, you can work with chocolate leaves. To do this, let the couverture melt. Brush real leaves with cooking oil and apply the coating with a brush. Let it cool and pull the real leaves from the solidified chocolate.
