The Opel Kapitän was a luxury class model from Opel and was produced for the first time in 1939. It went through nine facelifts until it was discontinued in 1970. Our model car shows the Opel Kapitän '56, which was designed like the American model, with an unusual radiator grille and a different coloured roof, just like our little Opel.
A lovely detail is the trailer that the car pulls behind it, loaded with boxes with the Gingerbread Schmidt logo - what might be inside?
