Marzipan cakes with chocolate cream & apricot
The combination of marzipan, chocolate and apricot is truly heavenly. Try it out and be surprised.
1. Cut the cake in half.
2. Prepare a filling of cream cheese, soft butter, icing sugar and cocoa.
3. Pipe the cream cheese topping onto the bottom half of the cake using a piping nozzle.
4. Remove the stone from an apricot and place half of it on the cream cheese topping.
5. Whip some cream until stiff and pipe it onto the apricot using a piping nozzle. Garnish the cream with slivered almonds and fresh lemon balm.
6. Finally, place the lid on the little tower.
