Just by reading through the recipe, it becomes clear why these gingerbreads are very special: They are made from a similar dough to the Elise, the gingerbread queen. This means the best ingredients, exquisite spices and, above all, an extra high nut content of at least 28 percent!
The difference between this and Elise gingerbread is not just the shape, but also the fact that we do not bake the gingerbread on a wafer. Instead, after cooling, we dip them completely in milk chocolate and decorate them additionally with fine threads of white chocolate.
