Our rooibos tea
Rooibos and Redbush
The fruity herbal tea Rooibos is cultivated exclusively in the South African province of Western Cape. The tea leaves are obtained from the branches of the Rooibos bush, which is why both terms - Rooibos in Afrikaans and Redbush – are correct. Rooibos delights tea drinkers with its unusual sweet, fruity flavour and reddish colour in the cup. Actually, Rooibos tea needs no sugar, but South Africans still like to drink it sweetened, with milk or lemon.

In "Winter Magic," rooibos leaves combine with apple, cinnamon and marzipan to create a delightful winter poem. The "Snowflake" has a creamy caramel flavour and tastes simply great even after Christmas, with or without a little sweet accompaniment from the Schmidt range.
