Art in taste and appearance
Lebkuchen art, artfully packaged: our artistic tins have long been cult items and collectors' pieces, and we are always coming up with new designs. For the tin containing five of the finest mixed Elisen slices, we chose ‘Die Erfüllung’ (The Fulfillment), a work by the famous Viennese painter Gustav Klimt (1862–1918).
He was a central representative of Viennese Art Nouveau, known for his ornamental imagery and use of gold. His painting ‘The Fulfilment’ was created around 1905–1909 for the Stoclet Palace in Brussels. It shows a couple embracing, almost merging with the picture in a golden, ornate setting – a symbol of love, unity and spiritual and physical fusion.
Blending is also the theme when enjoying our finest Elisen gingerbread: only the best ingredients blend together to create the perfect Christmas treat.
